Hey y’all! I got some requests for a daily-routine post, so I thought since we are still near the beginning of the semester (and the year) this would be a great day to share with you my daily routine. While my schedule is a bit different every day due to classes, I’ll give you a pretty typical look on what my schedule looks like and how I stay productive as a junior in college. 7:00 AM Wake Up
During the week, I generally get up at 7AM everyday. I don’t have any early morning classes this semester, but I always either go to my internship or on my off days head off to the gym.
9:00 AM In the Girl Boss Mode
I go to my internship 3 days a week (two of which are during the school week). Here I have my “big girl” job in the office assisting planning educational programming. I always bring my coffee thermos with me (drink all of it on the 40 minute drive), and then fill it up again while I am there. I also bring with me a small morning snack of almonds and an apple. My school week schedule is hectic so I don’t always have time for an actual lunch.
12:30 PM Time to Learn
This semester most of my classes were in the afternoon. I’m an elementary education major so as a junior, all of my classes are now in my major and are so fun! Since I don’t have time for an actual lunch break, I generally bring a snack with me to class.
4:00 PM Study Time
After classes are done, I typically go to study at one of our campus coffee shops. I bring my laptop with me (a must), my planner to stay organized, some headphones, order an Americano, and get to work.
5:30 PM Dinner Time
At dinner I get together with my group of friends who I love so much and we get to spend some quality time together and catch up on all of our days. My closest friends aren’t in my same major so I don’t have classes with them anymore, but we are intentional in our friendships and dinner is one way we all stay together. Since I am trying to be healthy I generally eat either a salad and grilled chicken or a turkey sandwich, along with fresh fruit.
7:00 PM Workout
I try to go to the gym 5 days a week. I have a membership at our YMCA and love using the cycling bikes and the treadmill. It’s fun to workout off campus and get a way a little. This semester I also joined a CrossFit class with my best friend that we do twice a week.
8:30 PM Nighttime Routine
After working out I shower and do my nighttime skin care routine. Balances ph levels, and helps prevent acne scarring. One of my favorites is Rosehip oil, which I greatly recommend. It rejuvenates skin, Even though it seems like I’m getting ready for bed, I still have homework to do.
9:00 PM Study Time
It seems like homework is never done! I generally make myself a cup of coffee (I know it’s terrible to drink coffee this late) and settle in nice and cozy to study for the rest of the night.
11:30 PM Bedtime
As long as there is no other pressing homework to be done, I try to go to bed at 11:30 that way I get a solid 7 hours of sleep. As a college student, it can be hard to get enough sleep, but it is so important in order to do well everyday.
